24 years of Celebrating - the Arts of Uxbridge

There are a number of events happening in Uxbridge and township, but one that has sustained change of leaders, focus, timing, length, and objective - has been the Uxbridge Celebration of the Arts. This is a 3 week long - well - celebration of the arts. How can anything be more self explanatory.
We have celebrated the art of word with our Authors night.
We have celebrated the art of voice with our many singing evenings.
We have celebrated the art of film and film making with our honouring event of Christopher Chapman and our annual Short Film Festival.
We have celebrated the art of visual with our Studio Tour, and juried art shows.
We have celebrated the art of encouraging youth with our kids art show and technique classes.
We have celebrated the art of stage with play readings and original theatre plays.
We have celebrated the art of dance with recitals and shows.

Whew - can we celebrate anymore? YES and every year.

We are excited to announce that we will be pulling out all the stops with our 25th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for September 2010. I will be sharing all of the details - technical and intimate - about our programs, shows, performers, and more.

Sound exciting? Oh YA!!!!
